Bidders
At the end of the auction, successful bidders may settle by cash, cheque or pay on invoice by direct credit. Please note that payment by card is not available.
Postal bidding
Postal bidding forms are available on the Members’ section of the website or with the catalogue if requested by mail. Completed bidding forms should be sent to Peter Watson by Monday 17 July. Please note that postal bids may be disallowed on items that are too large or fragile or are inaccurately described. Please supply a phone number so that any difficulties can be discussed.
Sales table
Items to be sold through the sales table should be delivered to the hall between 8.30 and 8.45 am. Each item should be clearly labelled, showing the price (in whole dollars), the vendor’s initials, and a serial number assigned by the vendor. For example, Joe Blow’s item number 3 for sale at twenty-five dollars, would have a label “$25, JB, No.3”.
When delivering items, vendors must also submit to the Sales Table Officer a list of their items (preferably on a standard form, available on the website or from the Auction Convenor). This form must show the serial numbers, prices and a brief identifying description of the items. No sale will take place without this list.
