AGM Melbourne 2024

THE VENUE:

We have chosen the Glen Waverly RSL, 161 Coleman Parade, Glen Waverley Victoria 3150, a tried and tested venue located beside the Glen Waverly Train Station.

A Myki card will give you access to the Metro rail network, available at selected shops, (eg: 7-11) and at larger stations.

Seniors’ options are included in your Registration acknowledgment. There are many motel/hotel options in the area and close by to suit your accommodation requirements and price. A listing of nearby accommodation will be included in your Registration acknowledgment.

THE PROGRAM:

We have booked the upstairs meeting and conference rooms, for the weekend meetings and auction. A lift is available.

Friday 18th 

‘Meet and Greet’ 6pm for 6.30pm   2 course seated meal, with a cash bar operating. Casual seating.

Saturday  19th

The Annual General Meeting   9.30 am    will be in the Sunset Room 

The souvenirs will be distributed at the close of AGM business.

The Layout visits, from 11am till 4pm, Saturday after the AGM concludes, at this stage 4 layouts have been arranged, 2 of each gauge (others may be added). Directions and maps will be provided in the welcome pack, tea and coffee will be available at each layout.

The AGM Conference Dinner,  6.30pm for 7pm, in the Sunset Room will be a 2-course seated meal, local members will host each table of 10, tea and coffee will be available, a cash bar will operate.

Sunday 20th

Auction 

The Auction starts at 10.45am Sunday 20th, it will be held in the upstairs conference room, lift access available, access for the drop-off of lots and sales table items will be available from 8.30am. Lot viewing and sales table sales from 10am. Tea and Coffee will be available, and a sandwich lunch provided. Only members may bid and auction access is only available to those registered, no registrations on the day.

Self-drive Tour parallel event to Auction.

Sunday 20th Leaving the Waverly RSL at 10am.

A self-drive tour will travel south to a choice of locations between Tyabb Packing Stores for antiques, collectables and bric a brac; Mornington Tourist Railway (with 3 scheduled trips over the day); lunch at Kirks Hotel on the cliffs at Mornington. (Great food and a view of the Bay and coast) at
