Next Auction will be the Sydney Auction

The following information for the Sydney Auction is as supplied by Gordon Graham Coordinator

VENUE
Epping Creative Centre Dence Park, Epping. NSW (Car park and access is off Stanley Rd) 
Key points on the day:
• No pies or soft drinks - BYO food or drive into Epping to purchase at lunchtime
• BYO box for the items you purchase
COVID Safety
• Stay home if you have symptoms of a cold or flu 
• Decide if you are comfortable attending
• Hand sanitiser will be available at the door
• Wearing a mask is recommended while in the hall.
TIMES
Auction Stewards ONLY to enter the Auditorium before 9:30am.

 Vendors are requested to deliver auction and sales table items between 8am and 9am via the front door. 
General viewing will be available from 9:30am. Auction starts 10:15am.
VENDORS
Call or email Gordon to reserve lots.
Vendor sheets and instructions are now available from the members’ only web page.

Completed forms should be sent to Gordon Graham by email (preferred) or by post to reach him no later than Friday 
18th March 2022.
CATALOGUES
The catalogue will be available on the members’ only web site, two weeks prior to the auction date.  

Paper copies are available from Gordon Graham ($2.20 in stamps and a $1.20 stamped, self addressed envelope.).

Limited copies of the catalogue will be available on the day of the auction.
SALES TABLES
Vendor sheets for the sales table are  available from the members’ only web page or from Gordon Graham.

Note that there is a limit of 30 items per member.  

Each item to be clearly labelled with the price in whole dollars, the vendor’s initials and serial number 
Sales table purchases are to be paid for in full at the sales table by cash or cheque.
If you have a lot of items we can offer a standard table which you can man yourself for $20.

You make the sale and collect the cash. There is no extra charge beyond the $20 for the table. 

There is a limited number of tables.

GENERAL
Entry fee to the Auditorium will be $5.00.  This includes venue hire, and a tea and coffee station.

Note there will not be any pies or drinks please make your own arrangements for lunch.
Members are asked to download their own catalogues from the website.
Only financial members can sign in for the bidder’s card. 
BYO your own box! Perhaps a mango or fruit box
Note: Accompanied visitors can attend, but may not bid.
Buyer payments by cheque or cash on the day of the auction are preferred.

However, an authorised invoice on request from the auction clerk can be arranged.

Credit cards are not accepted for payment of invoices. 
Bidders are reminded that HRCAA auctions are for enhancing their own personal collections, not for making 
acquisitions for resale.

Members who deal commercially are expected to be especially scrupulous in this regard.
POSTAL BIDDING
Postal bidding forms are available from the members’ only web page or from David Taylor.  

Completed forms should be sent to David Taylor by email (preferred) or post to reach him no later than 
Friday 17th April 2022.
Items that are found to be ‘not as described’ (NAD) will be withdrawn from postal bidding.  Large or fragile items, 
which are difficult to post, will also be withdrawn from postal bidding.  

Postal bidders on expensive items are urged to make phone inquiries on the day to 

David Taylor, during viewing time between 9:30am and 10:15am.
Note: We only have a limited capacity to handle postal bids so the catalogue will have a “P” next to items that 
are available for postal bids.

For any other items please arrange with a friend who is attending the auction to bid on your behalf.

POSTAL BIDDING RESULTS
Successful postal bidders will be advised 
by post or email of the cost of their goods 
plus postage payable.  Payment is due 
within 7 days.
